The iCademy Learning Center: Video Resources

Video production is divided into three distinct production phases: pre, production and post. If you carefully work your project through these various stages the final product will be successful.

Pre-Production
Pre-production is all of the very important things that happen before the students touch the equipment. This stage includes brainstorming, research, storyboarding, script writing, assigning roles, collecting props. This is a critical time for the sucess of your video, do not skip this step. Resources >
Production
Production is when the cameras, lights and microphones come out and the real fun begins. But only if you have adequately planned. A reminder - do not skip the pre-production phase. his section provides links to resources about lighting, audio and video techniques. Resources >
Post Production
Post production is the final critical stage of editing the video and preparing it for submission. Editing should be pretty easy if there was solid planning and careful shooting of video. Resources >
